Farewell to Assistant Curate Nicholas GillPublished on 20th May, 2021
Rev’d Nick writes:
Georgina, I, and our daughters are very excited to announce that we will soon begin the next chapter in our lives. I can now share with you that I have been appointed Vicar Designate of the Islwyn Ministry Area.
Naturally, there is a touch of sadness as we leave the Whitchurch Ministry Area, our home now for three years. I am extremely grateful for the experiences and support we as a family have received during my curacy.
I truly feel called to minister in the newly-formed Ministry Area of Islwyn. I look forward to ministering among the people of the area and our consequent return to a more rural setting, and to seeing where God will lead us in this part of His kingdom. Of your charity, please pray for me, my family, and for the people and clergy of the Islwyn Ministry Area amongst whom I will minister.
I would also like to thank each and every one of you for your kind words, and the very generous cheque and thoughtful leaving gifts you gave to me and my family. With prayers and my best wishes.
