St Thomas’s Harvest Thanksgiving EucharistPublished on 26th September, 2016
Assistant Curate Jonathon writes:
“St Thomas’s celebrated Harvest thanksgiving last Sunday with café church.
As part of its outreach , St Thomas’s invited the local community to worship in a slightly different way – starting with coffee and croissants. The congregation explored different parts of the service through a series of fun, harvest-themed activities, and shared the Holy Eucharist. A ‘guess the number of corn stalks’ competition raised £50 for the Christian Aid Harvest Appeal. Food items brought along by the congregation will be donated to the Church Army project at Ty Bronna, and to the Cardiff Food Bank.”
