Lydia ( 17 ) and India (16 ) hit the headlines – again!

Are they the youngest Eucharistic assistants ever?

Lydia & India,
All Saints’ Rhiwbina’s dedicated acolytes,
have been granted a special licence by
Barry, Archbishop of Wales, and Bishop of Llandaff,
to administer the chalice at Holy Communion.

They will be on the rota, I’m told, from April!

Well done, girls!  What an honour!
It was only last April that they were in the news for winning the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award . . . . . .
not to mention the
Baden Powell Challenge Award.

At that time, I wrote:
‘The Baden-Powell Challenge Award is the highest award a Guide can achieve’.
