2020 HARVEST APPEAL

Our Harvest Festival is on Sunday 4th October. This year you are invited to make a cash donation to the Cardiff Foodbank, so that they can purchase a vehicle to help with the collection and distribution of food donations. If you would like to contribute please place your money in a sealed envelope, labelled ‘Cardiff Foodbank’ and bring your Thanksgiving Offering to any Benefice service throughout October.  Please note that due to Covid-19 restrictions we will not be collecting food items for the foodbank this year, just cash donations.  If you are unable to attend church you can also donate online at the following link:

SERVICE COVER AND CLERGY ABSENCE

Please be aware that there will be occasions when services get cancelled at very short notice. We do not do this lightly, but sometimes it is unavoidable. It may be that a member of our clergy or our reader must isolate upon receiving a Covid-19 alert, or they may have diocesan or personal commitments that cannot be changed. When this happens please understand that we are doing our best to maintain online and in-church worship in four parishes with three clergy and one reader (soon to be two when Fr Nick goes on Paternity leave.) It is inevitable that occasions will arise when we cannot offer full service cover.

On behalf of our full Ministry Team I thank you for your patience and understanding in these challenging times.

With love and prayers,

Fr John.
