All-Age Teddies jump for Christian Aid

Sunday’s All-Age Service at St Mary’s

focussed on
Christian Aid.

After the service the intrepid teddies, blessed by
The Rev’d David Sheen,
parachuted down from St Mary’s church tower,
watched by their anxious owners,
members of the
St Mary’s Brownie units.

You will be relieved to know that all the bears landed safely,
though two of them  needed rescuing from churchyard trees!

Great fun was had by all,
and the funds raised through generous donations will undoubtedly
help Christian Aid in their life-saving work.

Sincere thanks to the Rev’d David Sheen, to Jane Aggleton,
and, of course, to
Junior Church Leader, Mrs Ruth Coombs.
