Dear Friends

‘ Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day ‘ –(Alice Morse Earle)

Here we are again, dear Friends: our Monthly ‘e’ – the weeks roll around.  Nothing seems to have altered in respect of W.R.B., so I will await the next Welsh Review, and any news our Church Reps may know of their own Churches.  I am leaving our Worships as below.

Many thanks to the Rev’d Sanga for leading our very first Zoom Worship in June, and to Steve Burt for setting up all the technology and acting as our Host. Received many nice emails and thank you to everyone who made contact- your es were all very much appreciated. We had Friends who had not joined us before.  13 friends joined us. One clever person joined us via telephone – well done, as I’ve still not worked out how to do that, but I will!  AND two more friends tried by phone and did not succeed.  Another friend gained access via the Net but could not gain access to us.  My thanks to the Benefice for sending the June e out to their Worshippers. Very helpful and much appreciated.

Our next Worship will be on Zoom. This time set up and led by the Rev’d Naomi of Ararat for which many thanks.

You will need the following link to gain access.  If anyone wants help, please make contact with me and I’ll send the instructions.

I am very conscious we have a number of friends without the Internet.  I know how much you all value our Monthly W.R.B Worships, but I hope these letters help you to know you are still very much part of W.R.B. and we all look forward to meeting together in due time, subject to the Rules & Regulations in force at each Church.

Please pray for:

OUR CLERGY AND THEIR WORK in our Communities with their work online, emails, phone calls, etc.,  as they follow the Rules and Regulations set out not only by the Welsh Government but also their own Church Authorities.

Lord Jesus, when you walked with us on earth you spread your healing power,

We place in your loving care all who are affected by Coronavirus, all who are shielding, all who long to see their families and friends, for those in care.

Keep us strong in faith, hope and love.

Bring relief to our sick, console our bereaved, protect those who care for us.

We lift our prayer to you Lord, and trust in your infinite mercy,  Amen.
