St Mary’s bells will ring out today in a four-hour peal
marking the hundredth anniversary of the death of
Ralph Shelper Williams, engineer,
of Glynrhondda Street,
who died, aged 19 years,
when his ship,
SS Cheviot Range,
sank south of the Lizard
on 21st February, 1918.
