Benefice Warden proposes a toast

Benefice Warden Kath Lawley proposed a toast  . . . . and it worked! With the results and proceeds of two ongoing competitions still to come, the event raised £618 on the day itself.

Congratulations and sincere thanks to the many people who worked so hard to make the Fair a success.

There was time for a chat . . . . .

Time for a chat . . .

or just . . . .

 Tea for two!

Scoutmaster Gavin was there, with his two apprentice chefs . . . .

 'They also serve . .'
There were old friends to meet . . . .

 and new ones, too.

( Martha was one
month old on the day
of the Fair. )

As usual, the ‘Clean Water Project’ Stall, which sells
home-made jams, chutneys, and lavender bags, and
sends all the proceeds to a remote Tanzanian village,
was almost sold out by the end of the afternoon!

( This is what it looked like before the locusts descended! )
